Overview
Mithis World is a custom-built moderator management web application developed for a client. It centralizes moderator recruitment, staff onboarding, account and group assignments, shift scheduling, attendance tracking, performance-based bonuses and fines, salary records, invoices, notifications, and operational reports.
The platform provides separate dashboards and profiles for administrators, managers, and moderators. New moderators can apply through a public application form, after which authorized administrators or managers review applications, approve candidates, create login accounts, and assign moderators to the appropriate accounts, groups, and work shifts.
Moderators can access their assigned work information, check attendance and salary-related records, and receive configured notifications. Administrators and authorized managers can oversee staff, manage daily performance-related bonuses and fines, review financial records, and control permitted management actions.
The interface supports desktop and mobile browsers, allowing the team to use the platform as a responsive web application without requiring a separate Google Play Store or Apple App Store release.
What I built
I developed the MITHIS WORLD moderator management application using PHP and Laravel, organizing the client's workforce operations into a centralized system with role-specific access for Admin, Manager, and Moderator users.
I built the moderator application and approval workflow, account and group management interfaces, shift configuration, attendance views, daily bonus and fine management, salary due and payment records, invoice management, dashboard summaries, notification interfaces, and reporting tools.
The system also includes manager access controls, moderator profile management, a public application form with document uploads, and responsive desktop and mobile interfaces. I focused on connecting the recruitment, daily work management, and salary-related workflows in one practical application.
Why I built it
The client needed a more organized way to manage moderator recruitment, approvals, staff assignments, shifts, attendance, performance incentives, and salary-related records. When these responsibilities are handled through separate spreadsheets, messages, and manual processes, it becomes harder to maintain a consistent view of team operations.
I built the platform to bring these workflows together, give each user role an appropriate interface, and help authorized staff manage the moderator workforce and its related records from one place.
Problems solved
The system addresses the challenge of coordinating moderator applications, approvals, assignments, shifts, attendance, bonuses, fines, salary records, and invoices across disconnected workflows. It gives the client a centralized view of workforce activity and related financial information.
Role-specific dashboards and management permissions help separate responsibilities, while account and group assignments make it easier to organize moderators according to operational needs. Salary and attendance records also provide a structured place to review work-related information instead of relying entirely on scattered manual records.
What I learned
This project strengthened my practical experience in developing PHP and Laravel applications for real client workflows. I gained a deeper understanding of role-based access, application approval processes, workforce organization, shift and attendance management, and the relationship between performance records and salary-related operations.
I also improved my approach to building management dashboards, structuring related features, presenting information clearly, and making interfaces usable on desktop and mobile devices. The project reinforced the importance of translating operational requirements into workflows that are understandable for administrators, managers, and moderators.
