Overview
Zihad Garments is a custom-built, dark-mode ERP web application designed specifically for garment manufacturing and retail businesses. It centralizes factory operations, inventory tracking, sales, and financial accounting into a single, unified dashboard.
What I built
Developed a full-stack web application using Laravel and MySQL. The system features a bilingual interface (English/Bengali) and provides separate modules for Purchase Division, Factory Division (fabric receive, cutting, production), Inventory Management, and Shop Sales tracking. It includes real-time data visualization and detailed reporting
Why I built it
The client needed a centralized system to manage both their garment factory and retail shop. They were struggling with scattered data across different spreadsheets and notebooks, making it difficult to track total stock value, factory expenses, and customer dues efficiently.
Problems solved
Eliminated data silos between the factory and the shop. The dashboard provides real-time insights into total stock value, daily sales, factory expenses, and most importantly, highlights "Extra Due" from previous days, ensuring better cash flow management and reducing financial leaks.
What I learned
Gained deep experience in building complex, role-based ERP systems with Laravel. Learned how to structure database relationships to handle inventory, production workflows, and financial ledgers. Improved skills in creating responsive, bilingual user interfaces.
